What a session looks like
Every group session follows a clear structure so goalkeepers know what to expect and can measure their progress:
- Dynamic warm-up focused on footwork, agility and hand-eye coordination.
- Technical block on the theme of the week, such as handling, diving or crosses.
- Game situations, where goalkeepers apply the technique under pressure: one-on-ones, rebounds and shots from different angles.
- Distribution and decision-making, because modern goalkeepers start the attack.
Why train in a group
Training with other goalkeepers of the same age creates healthy competition and constant repetitions. Goalkeepers learn by watching each other, they push each other, and they build friendships with teammates who understand the position.
Groups are kept small so coaches can correct technique on every repetition, not just watch.
Who it is for
Group training is the core program of the academy and the best starting point for most goalkeepers, from players in their first season in goal to competitive club and high school keepers.
