Specialist goalkeeper coaching in Orange County
Orange County has a large, competitive youth soccer community, but few coaches who work only with goalkeepers. Most keepers learn the position during team practice, facing shots while the coach focuses on field players. De Lima GK Academy exists to change that: every session is built for goalkeepers, organized by age and level, and led by a coach who still plays the position professionally.
Two Orange County locations
Santa Ana, Bomo Koral Park. Our outdoor home on natural grass, in the middle of the county. Training on grass prepares goalkeepers for the surface of most club games, from reading bounces to diving and landing safely outdoors. Santa Ana also hosts some of our holiday camps.
Newport Beach, Coastal Peak Park. Our coastal location in Newport Coast, with evening groups split by age: 7 to 9, 10 to 12 and 13 to 15. It serves families along the coast from Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach.
What we train
- Footwork and set position, so the goalkeeper is balanced before every shot.
- Handling and diving, taught progressively by age so young keepers land safely.
- Crosses and one-on-ones, the moments that decide competitive games.
- Distribution, because modern goalkeepers start the attack with hands and feet.
Goalkeepers keep playing for their clubs and come to us for the position-specific work team practice cannot always offer.
Group, private and game analysis
Families can choose weekly group training, private one-on-one sessions, or a game analysis in which the coach reviews a match video and delivers a PDF report plus a video call. Group memberships are monthly and can be canceled anytime.

Training and family support are available in English and Spanish, so every family can follow their goalkeeper’s progress.
